The canvas can be tucked in while lowering it but can be stopped anytime with the micro process still remembering the limits of travel. The Remote will turn off in 3 minutes if not being used. Meaning “Little fingers” can not bring the roof down on you at Breakfast. In the unlikely event of battery failure or lost remote the handle to lower stabilizer legs can be used to raise or lower the roof.
Using webbing, rated at many times the weight of the roof, instead of wire cable means no uneven build up on the hub and no sudden drops on the way up or down. Webbing will out last wire by many years. Will lift the roof of the heaviest Camper Trailer even with an Air-Con unit and roll out awning on it.
